Ebony Villas

The Beginning of NCGC’s Journey in Uganda

Completed in 2011, Ebony Villas was NCGC’s first residential real estate development in Uganda, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the company’s history.

The intimate, self contained estate comprises 23 terraced villas, designed and built to high specifications with a focus on quality, comfort, and a cohesive residential environment. The development was quickly sold out, demonstrating the demand for thoughtfully planned homes and well-designed communities.

Its impact extended far beyond the development itself. At the time, Sissa was a relatively undeveloped area. NCGC brought electricity and water infrastructure to the area and upgraded and tarmacked the access road, helping open the surrounding neighbourhood to further investment and development.

Ebony Villas became a catalyst for the transformation of Sissa, contributing significantly to the growth of the area and laying important foundations for the community that followed.

The project established principles that continue to guide NCGC today, creating quality homes while contributing to the infrastructure, character, and long-term development of the communities around them.

More than our first residential development, Ebony Villas marked the beginning of NCGC’s journey as a real estate developer in Uganda.

Its proximity to Kampala and the Entebbe–Kampala Expressway also provides straightforward connections to Entebbe International Airport and key destinations across the city.

Today, Sissa is a well established residential area, offering the convenience of city access with a more relaxed suburban setting.
